Every billing cycle, someone checks by hand that the invoices match the portfolio.
Automated issuance and reconciliation of CFDI e-invoices for interest, fees and lease payments, with the certification providers you already use, connected through APIs or MCP. With validation, documented cancellations and a person approving exceptions and cancellations.
This is how we would do it: today we don’t invoice for any lender. What does run is the foundation, at two lenders: a portfolio that ties out to the system of record every night.
What it looks like from the controller’s desk.
-
Invoices get matched against the portfolio by hand.
Interest, fees, VAT and lease payments are checked loan by loan before stamping.
-
A wrong invoice gets cancelled in a hurry.
With no documented reason, no linked replacement and no idea whether the recipient accepted.
-
Billing and the portfolio don’t say the same thing.
What was invoiced this month doesn’t match what accrued, and the gap gets explained at close.
-
Relying on a single certification provider.
If its service goes down on billing day, invoicing stops.
What would the system do?
At each cycle it would take from your loan system what needs to be invoiced —interest, fees, lease payments— and issue the CFDI through the certification provider you choose, connected through an API or MCP; it can work with more than one. It would validate every invoice before and after stamping, and reconcile what was invoiced against what accrued in the portfolio. Anything that doesn’t match doesn’t get stamped: it goes to a person.
And cancellations?
Every cancellation goes out with its reason, its replacement invoice when one applies and tracking of the recipient’s response, and it’s documented next to the loan. None is sent without a person approving it. So when the SAT or your auditor asks about a cancelled invoice, the answer is complete.
- The agent
- An agent connected to your loan system, your accounting and your certification providers through APIs or MCP. It calculates what to invoice, issues, validates, reconciles and prepares every cancellation with its support.
- The accountable person
- Your controller owns the agent, by name. For the first 4 weeks, the agent checks with a person on every decision and action. After that, anything high-stakes —every exception and every cancellation— is always approved by a person; simple things, like invoicing a payment that matches, it handles with what it learned, and every action is logged.
- The evidence
- For every CFDI: which loan and cycle it came from, which provider stamped it, which validations it passed and, if cancelled, the reason, the replacement and who approved it. Evidence ready for your auditor or the SAT.
- The stop button
- If the cycle’s invoicing doesn’t tie out to the portfolio, the batch doesn’t get stamped. Your team can pause the agent whenever it wants and invoice manually.
An unsupported cancellation is a tax problem.
CFDI cancellations have their own rules.
Mexico’s Federal Tax Code makes cancelling a CFDI subject, in the cases the SAT sets, to the recipient’s acceptance, and requires the reason to be justified and documented. The SAT’s annual tax rules set the reasons and deadlines. A cancellation with no documented reason and no linked replacement is the kind that gets flagged in a review.

We don’t have an invoicing case yet.
We don’t invoice for any lender today, and we won’t say otherwise. What does run, at two lenders, is what any automated invoicing needs first: a portfolio that ties out to the system of record every night. The live proof is Luz, right below.

What a lender asks before starting.
- Can CFDI invoicing of interest be automated at a SOFOM?
- Yes, if it starts from the portfolio and not from a spreadsheet. Each cycle, the system takes interest, fees and VAT for every loan from your loan system, issues the CFDI through your certification provider and reconciles what was invoiced against what accrued. Anything that doesn’t match isn’t stamped and goes to a person. Cancellations are always approved by someone on your team.
- Does it work for leasing?
- Yes. In operating leases, each contract’s rent is invoiced on its date; in finance leases, interest and principal according to how the deal is structured. The system takes that from your loan system, issues each invoice and reconciles it against what was collected. Your controller sets the tax rules for each product, and the agent applies them the same way every cycle.
- Do I have to switch certification providers?
- No. The system connects through an API or MCP to the certification provider you already use and can work with more than one, for example a primary and a backup for billing day. Your relationship with the provider stays yours; what changes is that issuing, validating and reconciling stop being manual.
- What does it cost, and how do we start?
- You start with a free diagnostic: we review which invoices you issue, how you match them against the portfolio today and which providers you stamp with, and tell you which parts the system can handle and which stay with your controller. Pricing comes in a formal proposal. There is a one-time activation fee and a monthly operations fee.
